Rafting on the Tara River is a very exciting adventure that year after year becomes the center of rafting in the Balkans. One reason is that the Tara River made the deepest canyon in Europe and second in the world, just behind the Grand Canyon in the US. This rafting adventure on the Tara River is 20 kilometers long. In this part of the river Tara with our licensed and experienced skippers you will tame a many rapids. In addition to the adrenaline through rapids, you can also enjoy swimming and jumping from rock to water. The water temperature is about 12 degrees, but for your full enjoyment of this rafting adventure our special neoprene suits will take care. You will feel the magic of what it is like to be in the deepest canyon in Europe. Through some rapids in agreement with our skipper you can try body rafting.
What is characteristic of the Tara River is the pure emerald color which you can drink. This is one of the reasons why it was dubbed the Tear of Europe. You will enjoy the unique water noise accompanied by mountain silence, and sometimes you can see wild animals such as mountain goat, deer…
Our rafting season starts in April and lasts until the end of September. During these 6 months, all rafting enthusiasts can find their enjoyment, from extreme (April, May) to rafting for all lovers of good adventure (June, July, August, September). Only with our organization in rafting on Tara river adventure you can choose lunch at Tara Canyon or in our base camp after rafting.
No accommodations are planned for this activity. If you would like an overnight stay, please contact us by email. You can book rafting without lunch, of course, with a price adjustment.

The time of departure can be adjusted according to your wish
This adventure includes the last 20 kilometers of the Tara River which is the most attractive and gives you the highest dose of adrenaline. You will enjoy the silence by watching numerous waterfalls that falling in the river itself. Also, in a few places the water is slow so you can swim, dive … as well as jump from the rocks of different heights in the water.
During the Rafting on Tara river adventure we will enjoy the specialties made in the traditional way from domestic products.
In addition to our professional guides, we use the highest quality equipment for all our activities. For all water sports in our offer we use only Cressi and Mares equipment that are the best in the world.
The planned start of the activities is at 10:00, when rafting equipment is shared in our camp. we will drive with our off road vehicles for 40 minutes through the deepest canyon in europe. After our skipper’s instruction, our rafting on Tara river adventure can begin. This adventure lasts about 3-4 hours including taking photos, breaks and other activities during rafting. Finish point is our camp where we return rafting equipment.
