Prenj is also known as the Bosnian Himalayas, with the highest peak a Zelena glava 2155 meters above sea level.

As the most beautiful and fun adventure we have chosen the highest peak of Prenj mountain, the Zelena glava which is 2155 meters high.
Prenj mountain is characterized by beautiful tips, winding toothed ridges. It is characterized by mixing of coniferous and deciduous forests, and imposing mountain peaks. All visitors to Prenj mountain are captivated by its beauty and unique surroundings. 
To the highest peak of Prenj exist few traills. Our choice is the Tisovica valley, as the most beautiful valley, and the trail is easier than the others. From the top of the Zelena glava, you can see the entire massif of the Prenj Mountain, as well as other mountains in the area. The total duration of the hiking adventure is 4 hours and 30 minutes.
No accommodations are planned for this activity. It is also possible to arrange an overnight stay in the mountain. If you would like an overnight stay, please contact us by email.

What to Expect

Prenj is one of the most beautiful mountain in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Prenj is a mountain for all nature lovers. During this adventure you will enjoy the rocky peaks similar to the alps, and in the valley of Tisovica in the endless greenery. Given its geographical location, the Zelena glava, besides being the highest peak, offers the most beautiful views of the Prenj Massif.
On Prenj mountain famous painters have found their inspiration for the most beautiful paintings. Also, films were made, The Battle of the Neretva.

Itinerary

Day 1Prenj mountain adventure

Departure time is negotiable depending on the place of departure.
Our hiking starts in the Tisovica valley. After 2 hours and 30 minutes we will reach the highest peak of the Prenj mountain, Zelena glava. We will enjoy unforgettable views with the lunch package.
After some time on the top, we will return to the Tisovica valley.
Comeback to start point.

Beautiful wild nature. It is very obvious that the terrain was formed by tremendous tectonic action. Very dramatic landscape. My feeling was that I was somewhere far from Europe. The atmosphere is unique – very far from civilization.
