The Hajducka vrata is a large stone ring located 2000 meters above sea level and is an unforgettable hiking adventure.

Legend has it: The renegades, popularly called haiduk, would go through this stone circle, believing that by going through it, injustice, bullet, or the law could not reach them. That’s what they called the Hajducka vrata.

The Hajducka vrata is located on the Cvrsnica Mountain and is a very rare phenomenon in its appearance. During this hiking adventure, Hajducka vrata are not our only goal. We will also climb to the second highest peak of Cvrsnica Mountain, Veliki Vilinac 2118 m. In addition to the hiking adventure, we will also visit Lake Blidinje. During this hiking adventure you will enjoy the beautiful nature as well as the views of the Prenj mountains, Visocica and the Diva Grabovica valley. 

Ten minutes walk from the Hajducka vrata, at 1970 meters above sea level is Crvenjak Glacier Lake. This lake is at its highest in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is oval shape and belongs to small lakes and is 50 meters long and 30 meters wide.

Hajducka vrata: hiking adventure on the famous rocky ring located 2000 meters above sea level

At the very beginning we will driving with our off road vehicles Land Rover or Volkswagen. During our hiking adventure we will enjoy the beautiful scenery. Taking pictures and enjoying the lunch package in unrealistic views of the Hajducka vrata and the surrounding mountains. After that, we will climb one of the highest peaks in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Veliki Vilinac.

On bright summer days, from the Cvrsnica Mountain, the view extends to the Adriatic Sea and the Peljesac Peninsula. The largest mountain lake in Bosnia and Herzegovina is located between Cvrsnica and Vrana in Dugo Polje.
