Start of the AdventureThe Horseback riding Tara canyon adventure starts with a scenic off-road drive from Foca or Tjentiste. Our Land Rover and Mitsubishi vehicles will take you to a beautiful viewpoint. Upon arrival at the stable, you will meet the horses. They are the last remaining herd of their kind.
Introduction and RideBefore riding, you will receive basic instructions. This ensures all guests feel safe and comfortable. The tour continues on horseback once you are ready. You will ride across gentle slopes and panoramic ridges.
Lookouts and VistasAlong the route, we will visit several natural lookouts. From these spots, the canyon opens in different perspectives. You will also enjoy views of surrounding giants. From the open ridges, the landscape unfolds in wide layers of forest, rock, and distant peaks, creating a sense of space that few places still offer. Photo stops are planned throughout the ride.
Conclusion and ReturnAfter completing the main loop, guests can relax at the stable. Optional local food and drinks are available. The standard riding duration is about 1 hour. Finally, we return to the starting point by off-road vehicle. The drive showcases another side of this magnificent region.
