Compared to other ferratas, Sokolov put is a special via ferrata because it has two suspension bridges that connect two rocks.

Via ferrata Sokolov put is steel path that allows us to move through vertical parts of the rock. Via ferrata trails are intended for anyone who wants to climb rocks and has no alpinistic experience.
The trail via ferrata Sokolov put has a total length of 350 meters, with an altitude difference of 160 meters. The trail is completely safe for all adventurers and is one of the most popular in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Steel footrest and handrails will help you master all the vertical parts of the rocks. Compared to all other ferrata, Sokolov put provides additional adrenaline with 2 suspension bridges that make it unique in this part of Europe.  The adventure is hard to describe in words, be sure to check out the photos below. Itinerary

Day 1Via ferrata Sokolov put adventure

Via ferrata Piva adventure begins with an introduction to our experienced guide. The guide will briefly describe what awaits you.

Depending on the place of departure, the driving time is different. If you want, you can get to the starting point with own by car. 
Travel time to the starting point:
From our base camp: 2h
From Sarajevo: 35 min
From Mostar: 3h
Upon arrival at the starting point, our guide will share the equipment with you. After a 20 minute easy walk we will come where the adventure begins. Estimated ferrate passage time is 2h. After we climb to the top of Crvene stijene, the ferrata ends, but fascinating views of the mountain landscapes will open up to us. Return to the starting point, about 15 minutes of easy walking.

Hiking the beautiful via ferrata Solokov put with our guide Ogi was a highlight of our whole trip to Bosnia!! The company was really accommodating with pick up and we could tell we were in safe and expert hands. Ogi showed us the ropes (literally), took some great pictures for us, and gave us a truly incredible experience. NOT for you if you have a fear of heights, but if you can handle it, I highly recommend!!

A unique experience. Recommended for all lovers of nature and adrenaline.
The path leads through the rocks to the top with a wonderful view. The guide is with you to suggest and help you. Safety and caution are emphasized at every moment. In order to complete the trail, you don’t need too much physical fitness. A little courage and determination is enough.
