Photo safari adventure in Sutjeska National Park is an ideal activity for all adventurers who love off road driving, easily walking and enjoying the landscape. During photo safari adventure, our guide takes you to special places from where the most beautiful views are provided and where you will make the most beautiful photographs for remembering.

Sutjeska was proclaimed a national park in 1962. Particularly interesting are beautiful mountain lakes of glacial origin, also known as “mountain eyes”, which because of its beauty and attractiveness are the outstanding tourist site of the region. Sutjeska National Park houses the 2 highest mountain peaks in Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as the oldest and largest rainforest in Europe. In addition to its natural beauties, it is also known for the famous Battle of Sutjeska in World War II, where numerous monuments were erected. In addition to the landscape, during this adventure you will be able to photograph wild goats, deer, and if we are lucky, a brown bear.

Within the photo safari adventure you can choose whether you want to visit the highest peak in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the oldest and largest rainforest in Europe or a most beautiful mountain in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zelengora and its natural lakes, which are called mountain eyes. During the photo safari Sutjeska National Park activity you will enjoy off road adventure in our Land Rover and Volkswagen vehicles. You will see largest and oldest rainforest in Europe as well as the highest mountain peak in Bosnia and Herzegovina. If you choose the second option, we will drive through the green expanses of the mountains of Zelengora, visiting the glacial lakes and the viewpoints of Sutjeska National Park.

Itinerary

Day 1Photo safari Sutjeska National Park adventure

Departure from the camp at 9:00h. Photo safari Sutjeska National Park adventure can begin.
We will ride about 70 kilometers by mountain road with occasional breaks.
You can choose:
Option 1: We will visit Beskita viewpoint, where we enjoy the view of the whole rainforest Perucica, Maglic (highest mountain in BiH), Volujak (second highest mountain in BiH). Next, we will continue to Prijevor, foothill of Maglic. We will visit the viewpoints and do some easily hiking. Time for enjoy the views with lunch package. After, we will return back to our car and start point. Return to the camp about 14:00h. End of activity.
Option 2.
Arriving to lake Donje bare. Tour of the lake. After that, a easly walk about 20 minutes to the viewpoint Boric. After, we will go to Gornje bare lake (about 20 min. walk). Time for enjoy the views with lunch package. Return to the camp about 16:00h.
