Since the very discovery of the Hrcavka river canyon, it has become a jewel for all canyoning lovers in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
River Hrcavka springs on the mountain Zelengora on 1570 m above sea level. Fast and clear mountain streams enrich very picturesque mountain landscapes. This mountain river with the strength of his water made an attractive river canyon. Through the canyon of the river Hrcavka, which is located deep in the magmatic rocks, clear greenish water falls transforming itself into a cloud of white particles of a unique nature.
Canyon river Hrcavka for all lovers of canyoning has built a series of different obstacles such as: waterfalls, some of them can be overcome only with rope, numerous jumps into pools filled with water, slides… What particularly separates this canyon from other canyons is the miraculous beauty in which a number of smaller streams are made from its sides making fascinating waterfalls. At the end of the canyoning waiting for us dry clothes as well as a lunch in nature maked from our domestic products.
Canyoning on the Hrcavka River represents the best canyoning adventure in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a large dose of adrenaline, beautiful waterfalls where the use of a rope is necessary, while at some waterfalls you can jump into the water pools. Also, what makes this canyon adventure very exciting is a series of slides. Only for our guests we make a zip line in the canyon for a better experience.
This adventure involves going through the entire canyon of the Hrcavka River and is only recommended for those with good physical fitness and extreme canyoning enthusiasts. Except that it will help you to stop for a moment and think that some of the obstacles are impossible, you will be able to enjoy in the unreal nature of the canyon itself and in the beauty of the mountain of Zelengora, which often visitors call queen between mountains.
In addition to providing jumps to water pools, you will be guided by a series of slides as well as by a single downhill down the waterfall with the help of the rope. Of course, everything is under the watchful eye of our guide because safety is in the first place. Also, what makes the difference from all other activities after the end of this adventure is to charge the batteries with our traditionally lunch which will be served in the nature, near the canyon. After Canyoning Hrcavka adventure, we will return to our base camp. With the shortened part of the canyon River Hrcavka we are not losing on the quality adventure, only in the length of time.

In our field vehicles we drive through the National Park Sutjeska to the starting point of the Hrcavka canyon. Dressing special gear for this activity and Canyoning Hrcavka adventure can begin. The duration of this adventure through the canyon itself is about 5-6 hours. After adventure, we will dress dry clothes and filling the batteries with a lunch in nature maked in the traditional way of the our master of kitchen. After lunch we will return to the camp.
I never did Canyoning before and i will say, that´s somethink everybody needs to try. We had such a great day with our guide. He was funny and keeped our mood high up all the time. We always felt save and in good hands. Thanks a lot to the team.
