A beautiful and peaceful park in the pristine nature of Bosnia and Herzegovina. There’s quite a lot of place to park when you arrive. A nice walk of about 30 minutes will lead you through beautiful forest and nature to the Bijambare caves. There are a couple of other caves in the park that are free to explore and visit. This is a great place for a peaceful walk or picnic. It’s great for kids and families. I would highly recommend a visit.
Bijambare is a hidden gem in Bosnia and Herzegovina! The stunning natural beauty of the forests and caves is simply breathtaking. The main cave is a must-see with its incredible stalactites and stalagmites. The trails are well-maintained and perfect for a peaceful hike. The area is very family-friendly, with picnic spots and play areas for kids. Don’t forget to bring your camera—everywhere you look is picture-perfect! Highly recommend a visit if you’re in the area.
I am very surprised with this place. I am not used to seeing a place in Sarajevo with no litter. Everything is clean and affordable. Keep it up.
Very professional guides will take you through the amazing middle cave, with 500 meters inside. Make sure to bring some warm clothes as the inside temperature is 4-5’C throughout the year. If you did not bring any, you can buy or rent some cheap at the train stop. Also climb the stairs to visit the upper cave, it has a wonderful view!
Breathtakingly beautiful place with a nice walking trail and amazing caves. There’s a little electric train for people who don’t want to walk . Highly recommend.
